Self exclusion

You can choose to opt out of viewing items containing alcohol.

How to opt out:

Log into account -> My Account (website) or Settings (app) -> Select 'Exclude alcohol items' (website) or 'Exclude items containing alcohol' (app) -> Choose length of time.

If six months is selected, preferences can be updated after this period. If permanent is selected, it cannot be reversed. There is a 24 hour hold after opting in in case you change your mind.

Once opted-in: 

  • Alcohol and tobacco products will not appear on menus or carousels
  • You won't be able to reorder alcohol or tobacco products for your chosen timeframe
  • You will no longer receive marketing communications about alcohol products

Third party exclusion request

You are able to make a request on someone else's behalf to restrict a customer from purchasing alcohol.

Anyone who is associated with the customer can raise this request. Each request will be assessed on a case by case basis and consider a wide range of factors prior to a request being actioned.

How do I make a request? 

To make a request you have two options:

  1. Navigate to the live chat on the Menulog app, and make a third-party exclusion request. Be sure to include the name of the customer in question. This will then be escalated to senior management for investigation.
  2. Alternatively, send an email to healthandsafety@menulog.com.
